For this quarter our “Jeans Day” donations went to the YMCA SafePlace in Louisville.  We purchased 13 backpacks filled with requested school supplies.

Back to School Drive

At YMCA Safe Place Services we value our teens, young adults, and families, and we know that education is a key component in their success. However, the reality is that obtaining the necessary school supplies is a struggle for our homeless teens and young adults, as well as our families in crisis.

Our kids and families need YOUR help to get these supplies! You can make a difference in the success of our teens by donating or collecting Back to School supplies.

Now through August 8th,  we are hosting a Back to School Backpack Drive for all of our programs: Shelter House, Outreach, and Y-NOW Children of Prisoners.
